Opening Session

Supporter Level - $20,000

4,000 scientists attend the Sunday afternoon Opening Session that opens the meeting with the presentation by the Keynote Speaker, Tachi Yamada, MD, President of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Health Program. Sponsor is acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program, AAPS Newsmagazine, Online Itinerary and on room signs on-site.

Plenary Session

Supporter Level - $20,000

One of the most prestigious sponsorships available, the Plenary Session on Monday morning opens the scientific programming for the meeting. Over 4,000 scientists attend this Monday session to hear eminent speakers discuss cutting edge information. Sponsor is acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program, AAPS Newsmagazine, Online Itinerary and on room signs on-site.

Symposia

Diamond Level - $15,000 per time slot

These sessions usually attract 500 - 600 scientists. Support covers all symposia scheduled during selected time slot such as all Monday afternoon symposia or all Tuesday morning symposia. Supporters are acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and on room signs on-site. Check exact program availability.

AAPS Executive Council Dinner - SOLD

Diamond Level - $15,000

Held Saturday, November 13, this dinner honors the governing board of the AAPS for their volunteer work completed during the year. Sponsor representatives will be invited to attend the dinner.

Pharmaceutical Science World Congress Committee Dinner

Platinum Level - $10,000 per sponsor new

Held Tuesday, November 16, this dinner honors the program committee of the meeting for their leadership in developing the scientific program for the congress. Sponsor will be recognized in the Preliminary Program, Final Program, and sponsor representatives will be invited to attend the dinner.

ExpoCards - SOLD

Platinum Level - $15,000 exclusive

Distributed and carried by everyone at the meeting, the ExpoCard serves as an electronic business card used for both lead retrieval at exhibit booths and for access to the Internet Café.

Career Center

Platinum Level - $13,500 per sponsor

The AAPS Career Center has become the prime recruiting fair for the pharmaceutical sciences. Dozens of companies participate in this fully functioning career center and have immediate access to hundreds of qualified candidates. The supporters’ logo is listed on the Annual Meeting Career Center web site, featured on monthly broadcast emails sent to AAPS members, and featured on all Career Center signs. Supporters will also be acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and Exhibit Guide.

Shuttle BusShuttle Bus Route

Platinum Level - $12,000 per route

Underwrite a shuttle route. Shuttles provide transportation from official hotels to the convention center. Sponsored routes feature 2’ x 16’ exterior banners on the buses with sponsor’s logo, plus naming rights for the route. Sponsors are acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and Exhibit Guide.

Platinum Level - $11,000 per sponsor

Carried by all registrants not just at the 2010 FIP PSWC/AAPS Annual Meeting & Exposition, AAPS tote bags are seen at other AAPS and non-AAPS meetings! Your logo will be featured on each tote bag. The deadline for this opportunity is May 28th.

Congress Closing Dinner

Platinum Level - $10,000 per company

The Final Dinner of the congress will be held November 17. Supporters can be recognized in the Preliminary Program, Final Program of the congress, menu card, have corporate banners hung at dinner, and receive a 15% discount on the price of a table for eight. Supporters can also provide a souvenir for distribution at the dinner tables.

Message CenterMessage Center/Internet Cafe

Platinum Level - $10,000 per sponsor

What do all attendees need? Internet connections! Everyone connects to office, home, and friends through the AAPS Message Center. Supporters have their logo on the welcome screen of every computer terminal, plus supporters can send a welcome email that greets attendees the first time they log on the computer. Sponsors are acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and Exhibit Guide.

Hotel Key Cards - SOLD

Distributed at official AAPS hotels, this hotel key features your company’s artwork.

Roundtable Programming

Platinum Level - $9,500 per time slot

Interactive sessions with 200-300 people attending and contributing to open discussions on specific topics. Support covers all roundtables scheduled during selected time slot such as Tuesday afternoon roundtables. Supporters are acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and on all room signs displayed on-site. Check exact program availability.

Registration Confirmation Email

Platinum Level - $9,000 exclusive

Over 6,000 registration confirmations are sent via email upon completion of the registration transaction.  The Supporter will have its logo appear on the email along with a hyperlink to supporter’s web page.  As a bonus, the Supporter’s logo will also be included in the last email sent to international and late registrants with instructions on how to use the Registration Self Check-in counters. The deadline for this opportunity is April 26th.

Sunrise Sessions

Silver Level - $5,500 per time slot

Designed as a primer on new emerging technologies, these popular sessions are conducted early in the morning and attract from 50 – 125 people. Supporters are acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and on all room signs displayed on-site. Check exact program availability.

Student Mentoring Lunch

at the PSWC 2010 Congress for Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

Silver Level - $5,500

Open to all graduate students, the Mentoring Lunch is the students’ opportunity to sit down with scientists working in industry, academia, and government and learn about job responsibilities, career paths, and what recruiters are searching for in the different work environments. The supporter of the Sunday lunch will be invited to have staff participate in the lunch. Support is acknowledged in the Preliminary Program, Final Program and Exhibit Guide.

Your logo is printed on the floorplan included in the Annual Meeting Exhibit Guide that is used throughout the year as a supplier reference.

Program Theme Stream

Silver Level - $5,000 per sponsorship

Congress Closing Dinner – Wine Service

Bronze Level - $4,000

Underwrite the wine served at the final dinner of the congress. Supporters can provide artwork for specialty labels to be affixed to the wine and can be recognized in the Preliminary Program, Final Program, and on the menu cards distributed at the dinner.

Welcome Reception Bar

Bronze Level - $3,600

Sunday night’s Welcome Reception is the first networking opportunity for scientists to find their colleagues and catch up on news. Bars will feature signs with your company’s logo. Supporters will also be included in the Preliminary Program, Final Program, and Exhibit Guide.

Student Travelships

Bronze Level - $3,000 deadline May 30, 2010

Travelships will be awarded to students traveling more than 200 miles to the meeting in order to present contributed papers. Travelship supporters can be recognized in the Preliminary Program, on the Travelship web page of the congress, and also on-site in the Show Daily and Final Program.

Conference Closing Dinner – Menu Cards

Bronze Level - $2,000

Menus will be provided to everyone attending the dinner and your company logo will be printed on the menu card. Menu supporter can also be recognized in the Preliminary Program and Final Program of the congress.

Poster Floorplan

Bronze Level - $1,750 per time period

Your logo appears on poster floorplan included in the Final Program and on-site map. Supporter chooses from six time periods: Monday afternoon session; Tuesday morning session; Tuesday afternoon session; Wednesday morning session; Wednesday afternoon session; and/or Thursday morning session.

PSWC2010 Congress for Students and Postdoctoral Fellows

Bronze Level - $1,500 per sponsor

Held Saturday and Sunday, November 13-14, the Student Satellite Meeting will feature general sessions, posters, break-out sessions, Graduate Student Symposia presentations and reception. Support of this event subsidizes the meeting costs in order to minimize student registration fees. Expected attendance at the event: 300 students from around the world.

BarExhibit Hall Reception Bar

Bronze Level - $1,500 per bar

Tuesday evening reception in the Exhibit Hall is open to everyone at the meeting. Bars may be located near exhibitor booths. Bar sponsors will have their logo printed on signs designating their bar. Sponsor logos will also be published in the Preliminary Program, Final Program, and Exhibit Guide.
