Does mole removal cream really work?

May 6th, 2012

Many people call any skin irregularity or dark spot as a mole. Doctors on the other hand may use different terms to refer to moles. Some moles appear over the course of time. Some moles appear as people are born. Sometimes moles develop due to sun exposure, while sometimes moles can be deemed hereditary, such as moles known as dysplastics or moles usually associated with skin cancer or melanoma. Moles look differently on different people and people regard the moles they have differently as well. Some people absolutely adore them, while some people can’t wait to get rid of them using some kind of mole removal cream.

While moles are removed for various reasons, they are generally removed by surgical methods. Depending on what kind of mole you have, excision or excision with cauterization may be done. Excision will simply take out the mole from the skin, followed by stitches, while excision with cauterization involves cutting away the mole from the skin and burning away whatever cant be excised. There’s also the option to use laser light for removal but because laser light does not reach deeper skin levels, it is not a chosen method for deep moles. Apart from simply removing a mole, the chosen removal method may be picked out because of the accompanying cosmetic result it will produce.
